No license is stated in the README, it is a hosted web tool with no local installation needed.
Koboyo is an infinite canvas that runs in your browser at koboyo.com, meant for brainstorming, drawing architectural diagrams, writing docs, and building presentations all in one pan and zoom workspace. Rather than being a library or framework you install, it is a hosted tool you open and start drawing in directly. The canvas draws shapes in a hand drawn visual style and can compile diagram as code into shapes, so you can describe a diagram in text and have it rendered visually. It can import existing diagrams from Mermaid, Excalidraw, tldraw, and Eraser, and it auto lays out common diagram types including flowcharts, entity relationship diagrams, sequence diagrams, class diagrams, BPMN process diagrams, mind maps, and org charts. It also supports wireframes and UI mockups shown inside device frames, along with bar, line, pie, and radar charts, rich text, tables, and sticky notes, plus a library of more than ten thousand icons. Koboyo includes AI features that can turn a written prompt into a full diagram or slide deck, and an agentic AI assistant that can edit the canvas directly and generate images for it. A present mode adds a laser pointer, speaker notes, and a timer for giving talks from the canvas itself. Everyday editing tools include smart connectors that snap to alignment, a searchable command palette, grouping and locking objects, multi select, safe undo and redo, and copying and pasting between browser tabs. Dark mode adjusts every shape's colors automatically. Finished work can be exported to PNG, SVG, or PDF, organized into multi page documents that keep diagrams live rather than flattened, and saved either as local .kby files or directly in the browser. There are also zen and read only view modes for focused work or sharing. The README does not state a license, and bug reports or feature requests are tracked through GitHub issue templates.
