xiaohongshu-ai-workbench is a free, open source set of AI skills for people who run accounts on Xiaohongshu, a Chinese social media and shopping app similar in spirit to Instagram, where users post short lifestyle and product content. It is designed as a companion to a paid handbook by the same author, a bestselling writer and app developer. The handbook explains how to think about Xiaohongshu strategy, while this project turns that thinking into concrete, repeatable actions an AI assistant can carry out. The project ships six skills meant to be installed into Codex, an AI coding and automation tool. One is a router skill that suggests where to start. The others each handle one specific job: writing and improving post titles, checking and rewriting a profile page and its bio, planning topics and content series, replying to comments, and designing a path that leads a reader from content toward becoming a paying customer. Each skill is meant to solve one clear, stable workflow rather than trying to do everything at once, so they can be installed and used individually or chained together depending on the goal, such as starting a brand new account, publishing a single new post, or building out a sales funnel from content to private messages. The README is explicit that the tool is meant for people who already have a real product, service, or body of work but struggle to describe it clearly, not for people hoping an AI will invent an account or guaranteed results out of nothing. It does not include outside case studies, borrowed formulas, celebrity quotes, or promises of follower growth, viral posts, or sales, and contributors are asked to keep it that way. To use it, someone downloads the prebuilt skill files from the packages folder and imports them into Codex, or clones the repository and runs included Python scripts to rebuild and validate the packages themselves before installing the relevant skill folders. The project is released under the MIT license.
