Requires an existing Foundry VTT v13+ installation to install the module into.
This is an add-on module for Foundry VTT, the virtual tabletop software people use to run tabletop role-playing games online. It replaces the built-in file browser that game masters use to manage their maps, images, audio, and other files, which the author found hard to work with because it offers no tags or favorites and forces you to open files one by one to tell them apart. The replacement browser lets the game master label files with colors and tags, mark favorites, and see a list of recently used folders. Images, video, and audio files can be previewed directly in the window, including a working audio player with a seek bar. Dragging an audio file onto a music playlist automatically creates a track from it, and dragging any file onto a journal entry turns it into a page. From the preview panel, there are also quick buttons to place a file on the current scene as a tile, show it to players, send it to chat, or whisper it privately. The module works with any game system inside Foundry, whether that is Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition, Pathfinder 2nd edition, or a custom homebrew system, since it is purely a file browsing tool rather than something tied to specific game rules. It requires Foundry version 13 or newer and supports both English and Russian. This public repository holds the same source code that ships in the released version, minus a couple of bundled sound and logo files. The module is free to install and use in your own games, but the source code itself is not licensed for redistribution or resale without asking the author first.
