Clone Hero Chart Manager is a desktop app for Windows and macOS that helps players of the rhythm game Clone Hero find, download, and organize custom songs, called charts, from two big community song databases. Instead of manually searching websites and figuring out how to install each file, this app puts search, downloading, and file conversion into one place. One of its standout features lets you paste a link to a public Spotify playlist, and the app automatically looks for a matching chart for every song in that playlist, then lets you download them all in bulk, turning a playlist you already enjoy into a ready to play setlist. Beyond that, the app offers a full search experience across both song databases at once, letting you filter by instrument, difficulty, genre, release year, and more, browse the entire catalog of well over a hundred thousand songs, preview a short audio clip of each song before downloading, and even get a button that picks random songs to try. Once you find a chart, the app handles downloading from many different file hosting services, including ones that need extra steps like drive links or shortened URLs, and it automatically unpacks compressed archive files. It also converts songs that come in formats Clone Hero cannot read directly, such as certain Xbox and Rock Band file formats, into a format the game understands. If you already have chart files on your computer, you can drag and drop them straight into the app, and it will try to figure out the song's title and artist automatically. Beyond downloading, the app also works as a small file manager for your existing song folder, letting you organize files, build in-game playlists, find duplicate songs, and edit song details like title and artist. It is aimed at people who already play Clone Hero or the similar game YARG and want an easier way to grow their song library without digging through forums and file hosting sites by hand.
